Charles Libby
East Coast Aero Tech
(Now WyoTech)

EAST COAST AERO TECH (now WYOTECH) is proud to nominate CHARLES LIBBY, of Ellsworth, Maine, for an Outstanding Student Achievement Award. Charles worked very hard and diligently to attend East Coast Aero Tech. Over the span of fifteen months, Charles commuted over 46,200 miles, helped care for his three children, and still graduated from East Coast Aero Tech with a 96.7% grade average and perfect attendance. It is even more astonishing that despite being 50% disabled, he did not allow this to slow him down. Charles received assistance from the Veterans’ Administration for his education and training in the Aircraft Maintenance Technology program. Shortly after graduating in February 2004, Charles had multiple local job offers and he chose to begin his new career as an Aviation Maintenance Technician at Pan Am Airlines in Portsmouth, N.H. The staff and faculty at East Coast Aero Tech looks forward to watching Charles succeed and wish him the best of luck in his every endeavor.
